Every soul has five core purposes in life: emotional, intellectual, financial, spiritual, and adversity. We are wired in a way that makes us seek relationships which fulfill one or more of these needs. Therefore, in many cases, even if just one of these purposes is being fulfilled in a toxic relationship, the soul may choose to stay.
The moment we stop receiving any of these needs or once they are fulfilled, the soul begins to seek separation. However, the complete fulfillment of all five purposes rarely occurs within a single lifetime. Instead, the soul often becomes entangled in additional layers of negative karma, leading to multiple karmic cycles across lifetimes.
âConsequences of a sin will never leave you until the circle of karma is complete. Karmic relations return as an opportunity of learning for the soulâs consciousness.â
The Story of Piyush â A Journey Across Lifetimes
During one of my sessions, I met Piyush, a sales manager and father of an 8-year-old daughter who had been living in a toxic marriage for over ten years. Despite his struggles, he carried an innocent smile and a positive relationship with most people around him.
During a regression session, his consciousness traveled back to the year 1916. In that lifetime, he was a young army man who risked everything to protect civilians. In another scene, he sat with a young woman sharing stories of his life, his courage in war, and the joy he found in helping others.
Suddenly the memory shifted. A soldier from the opposing army appeared and shot the girl he loved. She died instantly in front of his eyes, leaving him helpless and filled with guilt.
A Soul Triangle Revealed
Later he realized that the girl he loved in that past life had been reborn as his daughter in this life, and the soldier who killed her had returned as his wife. Their karmic roles had shifted, but the emotional energies remained entangled.
In a deeper regression, his consciousness moved to another lifetime where he was a powerful man who prevented his daughter from marrying the man she loved. He even forced the young manâs family to move to another country.
- The authoritative father in that lifetime was Piyush.
- The daughter was the same soul as his current daughter.
- The young man she loved was the soul of his current wife.
- The separation created intense karmic consequences.
- The cycle continued across multiple lifetimes.
The Opportunity for Healing
In this lifetime, the same souls returned in different roles to complete the karmic cycle. Piyush must learn to bring love and balance into his relationships, especially with his wife and daughter.
Understanding past life events allows us to bring closure to karmic patterns. Once the learning is complete, the cycle of karma ends and the soul moves forward with freedom and wisdom.
âBy understanding the events of our past lives and making the right choices in our current life, we can complete the karmic cycle and free the soul from the burden of countless lifetimes.â
Another Soul Journey â The Story of Trisha
Trisha grew up in an abusive environment and later faced similar circumstances in her married life. After experiencing miscarriages and failed IVF treatments, she decided to seek deeper spiritual answers.
During a past-life session, her consciousness connected with a soul she had recently aborted. That soul revealed itself to be Leila, a karmic connection from several past lifetimes.
In a lifetime from 1864, Trisha was a strict teacher and Leila was her rebellious daughter who resented her discipline. Their unresolved emotions carried forward through multiple lifetimes.
The Lesson of the Shadow Soul
In the spiritual realm, Trisha realized that Leila was actually her Shadow Soul â the hidden part of herself she had been avoiding. The karmic purpose of their relationship was to help her face her own weaknesses and grow spiritually.
Before birth, souls create agreements with guardian angels and other souls about the roles they will play in each otherâs lives. Sometimes these agreements bring painful lessons, but they also provide the opportunity for growth and redemption.
âEveryone gets a chance at redemption. It is our free will that allows us to choose, but it is our intellect that helps us make the right choice.â
When we rise above ego and emotional attachment, we begin to understand that every relationship is serving a higher purpose. The divine plan continues to unfold whether we are aware of it or not.
